When I accidentally ordered the wrong screen protector, Ultimate Shield were great in supporting me to get the correct one. Screen protector went on very easily and looks fab. It's very sturdy and I'd certainly buy again. Thank you!

Real premium tempered glass no fingerprints.

I had never used a tempered glass protector before and I was unsure how different they were from each other so my wife offered to try a cheaper twin pack from another company and I went with the perceived quality option from Ultimate Shield. It arrived quickly and well packaged.

I put my glass on my brand new straight out of the box Oneplus 7T, what a horrible nasty mess I made, I was so disappointed. Once the glass touched my screen it would not easily move so I took if off to re position but I then managed to get the adhesive side of the tempered glass to touch my cloth whereupon it picked up all manner of dust, dirt, and general unwanted material, there were also a fair few air bubbles.

I later installed my wife's tempered glass protector on her phone, although I made a better job this time it was clear that the actual glass was not as good as the Ultimate Shield especially in terms of how well if fitted.

As the days passed the air bubbles under my screen gradually disappeared until they all went although of course all the foreign material is still there. The protector feels fantastic to the touch, and doesn't delay fingerprint recognition at all, it would have been a great fit if I'd positioned it better but it has stayed in place and not lifted anywhere.

In conclusion and to explain the bitter sweet title; I would say it is probably better to pay a little extra and buy an Ultimate Shield protector - if you feel confident of fitting it, to be fair it should not be difficult to fit and there is a good video showing installation, it was my own fault. The bitter is that now I've got a tempered glass protector that could have been great but I can't bring myself to take it off and buy another one as to me £26 is rather a lot to pay for screen protectors.
