Oppo Find X3 / X3 Pro Liquid Glass Screen Protector (2 Pack)

The glass is easy to swipe on and very responsive. Haptics feels good and the under screen fingerprint reader works just fine. Very clear too and fingerprints aren't hugely noticeable. It was also relatively easy to install (I'll leave a couple of tips at the end of the review).

Installation went well and I was really happy with it, and so was my dad (who used the second protector) for about two days. Then I noticed a hairline crack across the screen but I hadn't dropped it or damaged it. Then over the next week or so many of these cracks formed going in all directions. It wasn't just me but also my dad's phone this happened to which is a shame as it seemed really promising and much better than my previous screen protector from a different brand (which also failed after a few days). So now I'm £45 out of pocket in two weeks and all I have to show for it is a cracked screen which hasn't even been dropped. Pretty disappointing really but I suspect this was a faulty batch since the other reviews I saw were positive?

Just a couple of tips for installing it: you can get your screen level by using the phones level utility app and some folded up toilet roll under the phone to make up for the camera bump. Also the resin comes in an ink cartridge looking thing, make sure it is directly above your phone before unscrewing both caps as it comes gushing out very fast, I almost missed the phone! The instructions don't necessarily make that as clear as it should be.

Brilliant

gets three stars because it's actual glass, and can be installed to a good standard and because it's better than the plastic films on amazon, but that's it. The phone is difficult to lay flat, and it's difficult to get a good spread of glue ( I've tried installing this 4 times, and only once did I get a good spread) the inclusion of an installation tray would be a huge benefit. I'm puzzeled as to why one isn't included, especially when the plastic tray that holds all the items in the box doesn't hold everything that well (for example the glue tube slot only holds one tube, with the other just rolling around free)

So, I ordered this because I bought quite an expensive new (refurbished) phone and the screen was so pretty I wanted to keep it in perfect condition, and I didn't trust any of the garbage on Amazon. Even though this was expensive, it is clearly very high quality, with extremely thin and clear real glass and the correct size and curve for my phone. Saying that though, I'm glad they give you two protectors because as we tried to remove the protective plastic film from the first one (which is hard to do since the little pull tab doesn't work) it shattered completely (although no sharp glass got anywhere which is a plus). With the second one we managed to carefully remove the film with a needle and follow the rest of the procedure, which is a bit scary but the end result was fantastic. It is extremely clear and if you have a case around the edges you would never know it is there. Bonus - it fits OK with the Spigen case I bought for the OPPO Find X3 Pro.

So, overall, worth it, but please improve that little pull tab, and any buyers please be careful.

It is a lot of money for the screen protector but i rather pay more and get perfect size (made for the actual phone model) then get some generic one that doesn't fit.
This screen protector is a perfect fit and finger scanner work as it should
